What do you mean by Angel Reading?
I have developed an ability to tune in to the "energies" that surround us. Often they are loved ones who have passed on, but there are also angels and guides who surround us. I invite only the spirits to the session, the people who you knew in this lifetime that have passed on. The session is really about them and messages that they have for you. You may ask clarifying questions, but please let them guide the session. Usually, I am able to convey appearances, emotions, and messages from your angels. I work very hard to not edit, to simply describe to you exactly what I see, feel, and hear. That being said, there may be things that you may not immediately understand, but will may make sense at a later time. I cannot see into the future nor will I diagnose any medical concerns. It is an opportunity to connect with those you have lost and with whom you may need closure.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of healing. Directly translated it mean Universal Life Force Energy. We will invite that loving, healing energy down through my hands and into you. Imagine a faucet, turned on, and the energy flows through me and into you like water, filling you with love, light, and warmth. The belief is that the energy will fill you and release any negative blockages you may have stored. We will invite your personal guides to be present during the session and request their assistance in your healing. I will pass along any images or messages that I receive to you, for your interpretation.
What are the differences between an Angel Reading and Reiki and a Divinely Guided Meditation?
Intention. It is my belief that the Reiki energy makes it safe for me to tune in and creates a nurturing environment, so in all cases you will receive Reiki. The intention of an angel reading is to understand who is around you and gain closure. The Reiki session is more about your healing and so we attend more to the messages and less to who is giving it, and I am doing most of the talking. The meditations invite more of your participation. In any case, I trust that you will get exactly what you need, remembering that you or I may not know what that means or what form it will take. Additionally, I provide a written recording of the Angels Readings.
The meditations seem like a lot of work for me!
Ok, I know that is not a question. Some clients have expressed this trepidation. The meditations are so powerful because of your participation. Whether you are identifying a fear, letting go grief, or connecting with an inner child, doing so in your mind's eye is critical in shifting the energy within you. It will help you get unstuck.
What if I don't meditate? What if I can't see anything?
Staying focused and trusting what you see and feel during the meditation does take practice. That is why we work together. I will be present and usually able to receive the image or message if you feel blocked or doubtful. I will coach you to trust the first thing that pops in, without judgment. Later we can discuss and analyze. I will offer my interpretation, but the most important thing to is to trust what resonates with you. I am just the facilitator and translator. We will work as a team: you, your angels, and me!
Do you see dead people?
No, it is not like the movie The Sixth Sense. The best way for me to describe this gift is that it feels like just my imagination, which is exactly what I thought "it" was for years. As I shared these impressions, little by little, I came to realize that it was something much more. I have three types of knowing, clairasentinence (feelings), clairavoyance (sight, but in the mind's eye) and clairaudience (auditory). I am usually able to give detailed descriptions of emotions and appearance, as well as hearing their messages for you. I am simply a messenger however, so I strive to just pass along what I feel, see, and hear and not to edit the information.
Yikes!?! Should I be scared?
Rest assured that your guides and angels are gentle souls. They will not present anything to you that you are not ready to receive, nor will they be hiding in your closet.
What if I cry the entire time?
Emotions are welcome and tissues provided. Bring it on.
Do you give readings over the phone?
Yes, this is a wonderful option if you live outside of West Chester. I ask that you create a sacred space, pour a cup of tea or water, light a candle, and get comfortable. Please do not sit in front of the computer or have any distractions around. I will be doing the same thing, honoring our time together.
What if I don't have any angels around?
We all have angels around us. If you do not receive the validation for which you are searching, or from whom you wanted, then it may not the right time for you to receive it. Before each session I surrender the need to control the session and trust that you will get exactly what you need and nothing that you cannot handle. It is divinely guided.
How can I trust you?
I recognize that the idea of angels, spirits, guides, etc. is not a universally accepted conversation or mode of healing. While it is my job to establish your comfort and trust, I will not be "selling" you. There are so many avenues toward healing, there is no need to push this one anyone.
